Welcome!
My name is John and I underwent orthognathic (double jaw) surgery on April 9th, 2012.
What exactly does this mean - well, I will provide the medical jargon and explanations for elsewhere but for simplicity sake, essentially I had both of my jaws 'realigned' (read: broken) in order to correct lots of medical issues . . .
I have created the blog with the aim of documenting the entire process from preparing for surgery to 3-6 months post-surgery recovery. Hopefully the blog will prove educational for all of us!
